Creating Conversations partners with civic and religious groups, philanthropic organizations, and other community institutions.
CC has extensive experience working with a diversity of organizations, bringing authors on immigration and activism to South Bay Cares and Organizing for America (OFA), managing book sales for the Los Angeles World Affairs Council's speaker series and annual international relations conference, hosting authors like A.J. Jacobs at Congregation Tikvah Jacob, and securing authors like Viet Thanh Nguyen (The Sympathizer) for annual events held by the Southern California chapters of women's organizations such as the American Association of University Women (AAUW) and Soroptomist. A full list of our non-profit partners can be found below.
Coordinate Author Visits. Whether its an established speaker series or a special event, we can work with you to find the author that matches your group. We coordinate with publishers to secure the authors.
Pop up for Event. We will set up a bookstore and stock it with a variety of books to compliment the author's talk.
Ticket Sales. We can create and oversee ticketing and registration for your event through Brown Paper Ticket.
