We create the pop-up bookstore for this three-day writer’s conference holsting up to eight guest speakers, held twice annually in February and September. The bookstore includes the authors’ titles as well as suggested reading materials for writers.
This all-day literary conference takes place in Long Beach in March features seven female authors across all genres, mainly focused on Non-fiction, Biographies, and Literary Fiction. We sell over 1,000 books at this well-attended annual event.
Organized and produced by the Orange County Libraries, over 30 authors across all genres speak over the course of one Saturday in April. Our bookstore supports all of the authors and carries various sideline items as well.
This premier book festival draws over 180,000 people to a weekend event across the USC campus every April. Our partner bookstore, Mysterious Galaxy, operates three booths and hosts/supports over 100 appearing authors.
Mysterious Galaxy has been the main bookstore at SDCCI for the last 10 years, selling books at more than 8 locations throughout the con. More than 100 participating authors attend this iconic convention held every July in San Diego.
Creating Conversations created and produces this annual October Book Group Event in partnership with Mission Viejo Library. Over 300 people enjoy 15 attending authors and conversations with publisher representatives. Our pop-up bookstore carries the authors’ books and book group recommendations from up to four publishers.
More than 500 people attend this annual November event, now in its fifteenth year. Men of Mystery celebrates authors in the mystery genre, featuring two keynote speakers and more than 45 mystery writers discussing their craft, signing books and meeting with fans. Founded in 2000, Men of Mystery was awarded the prestigious Raven Award from Mystery Writers of America in 2006.
We provide books for author talks all throughout the year. We're also the bookseller for their annual Future of Asia Conference.
