Design Services

We can help you design your author speaker series, provide suggestions for authors to participate, and provide you with a bookseller and books for your event. We can:

Help libraries plan author talks. We partner with many local libraries and publishers to coordinate author visits, pop-up for their event, and even arrange ticket sales. 

Create original programs. We design our own author programs such as Ladies, Lunch, and Literacy that host an author for lunch and support the event with a pop-up store.

Work with business and organizations to design author programs. We partner with organizations to help determine the focus of their author programs, coordinate with publishers to secure authors and manage pop-up sales for their event.

Create and manage ticket sales. We can create and oversee ticketing and registration for events through Brown Paper Ticket.

 

Pop-up Services

We can create a bookstore anywhere to support authors, organizations, and publishers. This pop-up business is flexible and reacts readily to requests to support any type of author event. Some examples include:

We set up and manage the book sales for large-scale literary festivals. At huge festivals including Long Beach Festival of Women Authors, Pasadena Festival of Women's Authors and Literary Orange in Orange County, we arrive first thing in the morning and create a beautiful display of books for attending authors. After they speak, our team of customer service booksellers ring up their purchases through a fast and efficent system that accepts all forms of payment.

Book launches are our specialty. We show up at restaurants, private residences, department stores -- you name it and we are there! Just provide us with an electrical outlet and a sales table and let us help launch your next book.

We pop-up at partner libraries. In addition to helping coordinate author visits to local libraries, we provide book sales and can arrange for ticketing or registration.
